Specifically, support vulnerability management; cybersecurity site visits to assist Mariners with patching and scanning of systems and networks; Afloat Site, system, and operational IT Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Support, mission-based risk assessments; and all elements of compliance inspections.  Individual will need to have an in-depth knowledge of Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity directives and directives and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Senior Assessment and Authorization Support Lead to become part of the team to provide service support in the areas of cybersecurity operations, risk management and compliance. Specifically, support vulnerability management; cybersecurity site visits to assist Mariners with patching and scanning of systems and networks; Afloat Site, system, and operational IT Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Support, mission-based risk assessments; and all elements of compliance inspections.
    Must have an in-depth knowledge of Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity directives and directives and procedures.
    Experience in information technology security
    Must comply with certification requirements identified in DoD 8570.01M for IAM Level III
    Must be designated a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Level III
    Experience with DoD RMF process to perform assessment and authorization
    Excel spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentation, and Word document
    Must be proficient in eMASS
    Cognizance of various DoD policies and regulations (e.g. 8500, 5200), and ability to interpret such policies and regulations as are provided to the Afloat community
    Review and provide feedback on DoD cybersecurity documents, orders and instructions
    Strong inter-personal and communication skills to carry out this assignment with the ability to lead and work as part of a team.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification required
    NQV Level III certification required
    Active Secret clearance required
    Bachelor of Science required
    14 years minimum IT/Cybersecurity experience required
    Experience with DoD RMF process to perform assessment and authorization
    Ability to review and provide feedback on DoD cybersecurity documents, orders and instruction
    Proficient with eMASS and MS Office products
    Knowledge of various DoD policies and regulations (e.g. 8500, 5200), and ability to interpret such policies and regulations as provided to the Afloat community
