Job Overview

Rightworks is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Security Analyst Level I to join our cybersecurity team. This role will be vital in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the Rightworks Azure Cloud infrastructure with a particular focus on our Power Platform suite. You will monitor and analyze our Azure environment, detecting and mitigating cybersecurity threats while maintaining data and system integrity. You will perform security assessments, audits, and remediation activities and monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts. As an azure security analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of Power Platform and other azure services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures for Azure cloud services, especially Power Platform.
• Secure Power Platform applications and data sources, such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and risks in Azure and Power Platform environments
• Monitor and audit the security posture of Azure resources and Power Platform dashboards, reports, and datasets.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts, using tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, etc.
• Perform security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 2 Type 2 and other standards.
• Collaborate with other Security analysts and stakeholders to provide guidance and best practices on Azure and Power Platform security.
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Azure and Power Platform security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience as a Security analyst, preferably in an Azure cloud environment.
• Proficient in Azure security tools and services, such as Azure Power Platform, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, Azure Active Directory, etc.
• Familiar with Power Platform security features and capabilities, such as data protection, encryption, access control, auditing, etc.
• Familiar with Azure Purview to discover, catalog, and govern data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Demonstrate a strategic mindset with the ability to help align content initiatives with broader business goals.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and platforms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask projects and deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving profession and company priorities.
• Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards, such as with NIST CSF 2.0 and SOC 2 Type 2, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900), and related topics are preferred.
