Piper Companies is seeking a Systems Administrator for one of our partners that provides innovative information solutions to a wide range of business clients. This position will be on site in New Castle, DE . The Systems Administrator will be overseeing, fine-tuning, and managing both internal and client computer systems, along with the requisite infrastructure and software for their supervision and maintenance.
Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator include:
Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of server, storage, desktop, and printer hardware
Management of Windows domain environment including Windows Server administration, AD DS, DNS, DHCP, NPS, AD CS, IIS, WSUS, DFS, Bitlocker, LAPS, Group Policy, ADConnect, domain migrations, and patching
Utilization of PowerShell scripting for server configuration/troubleshooting and automation, with proficiency in other scripting languages being advantageous
Administration of 2FA systems like Authenticator and DUO, as well as Azure/Entra ID
Oversight of Exchange administration (2019, Hybrid, O365) and spam/malware filtering (ProofPoint)
VMware ESXi/vCenter administration, with exposure to other hypervisors being beneficial
Management of Veeam, antivirus, and Microsoft Office suite, along with phone system administration
Required Qualifications for the Systems Administrator include:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university and 7 years of working experience, or 10 years of related experience and/or training
7 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, with manufacturing plant experience preferred, particularly in chemicals/petrochemicals
Compensation for the Systems Administrator include:
$90,000 - $110,000 Base Salary
