Our Client in the Novi/Wixom Area is seeking a qualified Systems Administrator for a Direct Hire immediate opening. This role will provide technical and assistance support to resolve problems with the organizations computer networks and systems. Reports directly to and work closely with the head of Critical infrastructure.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of all software and hardware related service inquires, including setup and rollout of new systems.
Provides technical supportâ€"identifying, investigating, and resolving users’ problems with computer software and hardwareâ€"for problems specific to the organization’s computer networks and systems.
Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems.
Collaborates with systems and network administrators to explain errors and/or recommend modifications to systems and networks.
Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
Central point of contact for IT issues and requests (25% remote users) across multiple locations
Provide training to group and individual users, driving adoption.
Key Qualifications:
Associates Degree in IT field; Bachelor preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Admin role.
Organize work to maximize productivity.
Use empathy to understand the point of view of others.
