Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Promptly and professionally answers incoming calls and electronic communication, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls.
2. Offering transfer or redirection of calls as needed for return calls.
3. Routes urgent calls appropriately.
4. May perform clerical duties, such as typing, scheduling appointments.
5. Responds to medical records requests timely.
6. Uploads documents into electronic health records for quality assurance.
7. Answers simple questions and assists with determining direction of where calls should go.
8. Informs supervisor of equipment malfunction.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1-3 years' experience in customer service or reception, preferably in a health care environment. Must have customer service experience.
