Swab Rig Operator is responsible for operation of the swab rig, crew, and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Ensures that all crew are at the swab rig and ready to work at scheduled time. Being a Swab Rig Operator maintains productivity standards for all rig functions. Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance of applicable regulations and policies. Additionally, Swab Rig Operator may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. The Swab Rig Operator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Swab Rig Operator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Cascade Drilling, LP is a full service company that specializes in drilling for environmental, geotechnical, mining and construction projects.
The Pump Rig Operator will develop new monitoring and water well, redevelop and rehab existing monitoring and water wells, install and maintain new and existing pumping systems, test well and pumping systems, and perform well closures or abandonments. In this position repetitive bending, lifting and climbing, may be done on a daily basis. This individual promotes safety, reports safety problems, incidents, accidents, or irregularities. Project schedules typically operate on a ‘10 Days on / 4 Days off’ schedule. Workday schedules may be 10 – 12 hours.
