Being a Sustainability Analyst, Sr. ensures proper sustainability benchmarks are established and maintained using ESG measures, standards, and methodologies. Requires a bachelor's degree. SVP, Commercial Credit Underwriting Director
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops credit information for use by lending officers or committees in making lending decisions on new, renewal and extension of loans:
2. May have supervisory responsibilities as assigned.
3. May assist loan officers in underwriting and preparing credit memos, narratives and other loan management responsibilities as assigned.
4. May join loan officers in loan applicant interviews or borrower meetings.
5. Interact with Loan Officers and Senior Credit Officer regarding analytical requirements.
6. May interact with borrowers, or other appropriate sources, in the collection of borrower and/or guarantor financial and operating information and/or collateral information on an ongoing basis for analysis and monitoring purposes.
7. May supervise training of Credit Analysts.
8. Reviews current accounts receivable, agings, inventory reports and related Borrowing Base Certificates as required, stock secured and art secured loan reports as appropriate, watching for any developing problems and keeping loan officers informed.
9. May perform written and phone credit inquiries regarding bank customers.
10.Monitor loan agreements and borrowing base certificates for compliance with covenants as assigned.
11.Ensures that all Bank Policies and Procedures are followed and comply with all applicable laws, regulations and have strong working knowledge of procedures.
12.Support the lending staff in providing high quality services to its customers.
13.Periodically assists with property collateral inspections.
14.May prepare quarterly significant relationship monitoring reports.
15.Assists with other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
A high level of analytical ability and writing skills.
Minimum level of preparation and training normally required by the job:
1. A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or equivalent job experience.
2. A minimum of 15 – 18 credit hours of accounting (including financial, intermediate and managerial accounting) or equivalent.
Additional Experience Preferred:
5 or more years as a Credit Analyst or related experience.
