You will have the opportunity to work with all GBP containerboard divisions and be part of our engaging certification team. The position is on our Corporate Environment & Sustainability team, working closely with division manufacturing personnel, internal sales team, and contractors.
• Coordination of certification documentation, training, reporting and data management for maintaining compliance of Forest Stewardship Council® and Sustainable Forestry Initiative® fiber certification programs, with skill development to be company subject matter expert.• Manage program communications, certification calendars and third-party audits. • Update, maintain and implement certification program manuals, related documents, and fiber material accounting.• Implement actionable planning to meet objectives and timelines.• Creating work products to advance efficiencies and continuous improvement.• Lead content discussions, conduct training, and manage virtual training platform.• Troubleshoot and resolve matters in timely manner.• Assist with sustainability reporting (CDP, EcoVadis, ESG) and sustainability communications with internal and external stakeholders. • The successful candidate should also have a passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to improving the environmental footprint of our products.
• Technical experience, B.S. Sciences, B.S. Sustainability, preferred. • Attention to detail and project management skills to complete tasks on time.• Strong analytical, decision making, influence and compelling communication.• Ability to analyze data, calculate monthly inventories and work independently to meet certification accounting requirements. • Self-initiative and organizational skills to prioritize administrative tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.• Strong computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, and SharePoint
