SURVEILLANCE SUPERVISOR implements policies and procedures for the surveillance department. Ensures compliance with gaming requirements set by state gaming authority and local law enforcement. Being a SURVEILLANCE SUPERVISOR supervises and evaluates surveillance employees. Safeguards the assets of the organization. Additionally, SURVEILLANCE SUPERVISOR reports improper activity or disturbances to security team for further investigation. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The SURVEILLANCE SUPERVISOR supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. DESCRIPTION: This is a full-time position and a training opportunity for an employee to gain experience and work in the Surveillance Department. Title 24; Safety Sensitive Position
DUTIES:
· Surveillance Officers enforce gaming laws on property and enforce casino rules and regulations.
· Conduct investigations and monitor and observe gaming establishments.
· Submit written or verbal reports for departments when needed.
· Maintains highly confidential communications with Management staff, security, and law enforcement personnel.
· Must have excellent computer literacy and adeptness in operation audio and video surveillance systems.
· Ensure the rules and laws applicable to the gaming operation are complied with.
· Knowledge of gaming enterprise policies, procedures, and controls,
· All other gaming and job-related duties as assigned by supervisor/dual supervisor.
