Overview
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:00pm.
Supervises and directs the Badging Office, badge production and assigned employees. Provides technical expertise in DH access control and video surveillance systems. Oversees coordination of all access control and video surveillance projects system-wide.
Responsibilities
- Monitors compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Supervises assigned staff members and completes performance appraisals. Provides direction, guidance, training and mentoring to badge office employees.
- Establishes clearance and access rights for all D-HH employees and vendors system-wide. Oversees the production of badges.
- Provides training to Badging Office staff on access control, video surveillance and badge production. Supervises and evaluates staff.
- Works with engineering, contractors, vendors and visitors throughout 22 locations owned, operated or affiliated with D-HH and supervises access control to these locations.
- Oversees the maintenance of 1500 controlled access doors, liaises with engineering, vendors and department heads in granting of appropriate access.
- Oversees the operation of over 600 security cameras throughout the D-HH system. Plans and coordinates the installation of new surveillance assets in all D-HH locations.
- Conducts functional audits; analyzes and evaluates system utilization to achieve maximum efficiency and performance of relevant systems. Ensures data from C-Cure Access Control System integrates with all other D-HH systems as necessary. Troubleshoots problems and implements solutions.
- Liaises with D-HH Information Services (IS), coordinates and supervises implementation of new applications, modifications and system upgrades related to Security, Access Control and Video Surveillance. Evaluates system issues and requests, works with IS to implement solutions.
- Participates in D-HH Incident Command System as needed to provide access control and video surveillance expertise to include site lock downs and controlled access.
- Serves as primary point person to D-HH staff along with local police and fire departments during emergencies and various codes (Active Shooter, Code Amber, Code Red, Code Black, and Code Purple) to facilitate necessary modifications of access control and access to video surveillance.
- Responsible for maintaining parking administration and management software applications.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to attend a 4 day C Cure training program, or current certification.
- Incident command experience preferred
- Security camera experience and knowledge of camera systems.
- Security computer related experience and skills required.
- 4 years of related experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required in accordance with D-H’s Driver Disqualifications Guidelines.
- C-Cure Software House Manager Certification
- CPR Hands Only certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
- Must complete all required training and pass minimal physical requirements within 90 days from date of hire and as required thereafter.
