Surveillance Operator operates all surveillance computer equipment. Monitors all areas of the property and closely observes a target game, staff member, or customer. Being a Surveillance Operator ensures compliance with applicable gaming regulations. Reports improper activity or disturbances to supervisor or security team for further investigation. Additionally, Surveillance Operator may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Position Purpose
To monitor the gaming floor and exterior to ensure safety for guests and employees, and asset protection.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Monitor the gaming floor and exterior property at all times; to identify potential security or safety risks and report to the appropriate individual.
· Accurately update the daily communication log.
· Become knowledgeable of all casino games and associated rules.
· Maintain a working knowledge of all rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
· Observe employee behaviors and actions and report any procedural or policy violations in writing to the Director.
· Utilize necessary equipment to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property.
· Protect company assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on the gaming floor and perimeter.
· Provide an objective investigation and accurate documentation of all incidents and accidents.
· Work closely with Security personnel to resolve any immediate concern or situation while maintaining a cooperative demeanor.
· Report all concerns or issues to the Surveillance Manager and/or Director.
· Identify potential loss of revenue; including (but not limited to) cheats, devices, and scams.
· Obtain and maintain a gaming license.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Maintain a HIGH level of confidentiality.
· Practice the 5-10 rule with flawless execution internally & externally.

Licensing
· Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License
