Surveillance Operations Manager manages and directs the surveillance department. Organizes routine random surveillances and audits surveillance as required. Being a Surveillance Operations Manager ensures compliance with gaming requirements set by state gaming authority and local law enforcement. Works with security team to resolve problems and disturbances. Additionally, Surveillance Operations Manager may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Surveillance Operations Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.     Role Responsibilities

    • Installation in the field of: Cabling and implementing new copper and fiber optic cabling infrastructure for both inside and outside environments.
    • Read, review, interpret, and update blueprints and documentation to prepare for and install required cabling. Such records may include, but are not limited to
    • Provides oversight in partnership with Project/Service team and performs quality control to ensure Surveillance One standards are met.

    • Structured cabling as-built drawings
    • Testing documents
    • Installing and fabricate custom one-off solutions for unique customer needs in the physical security space.
    • Complete various administrative processes related to service and projects
    • Continued trade education, training, and personal development
    • Test and troubleshoot all copper cabling infrastructure with a cable tester, Fluke Networks DSX-602-PRO.
    • Perform cable terminations for various cable media types (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic cable, coaxial cable). Install cabling and various cable supports such as cable trays, conduits, and hangers.
    • Support the build-out of Main Distribution Frames (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDF), such as racks, patch panels, and wire management.
    • Maintain an ongoing accurate hardware supply and asset inventory.
    • Document damaged cabling infrastructure and coordinate with Project/Service representative.

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of the proper use and maintenance of fiber fusion splicers, OTDRs, low voltage power meters.
    • Knowledge of copper and fiber optic cabling industry standards and best practices.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting quickly to changing needs due to operational priorities.
    • Ability to work independently or in a team environment & communicate professionally with co-workers and customers.
    • A high level of personal integrity and ethical standards.
    • Ability to be organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Ability to present in a polished and professional way.
    • Communicate respectfully and courteously, anticipating customer needs, using best judgement when completing assigned scope.
    • Willingness to operate within a schedule that is subject to inclement weather conditions.
    • Able to travel weekly.
    • Ability to work daytime and/or nighttime hours per customer schedule.
    • Work multiple hours while standing and/or ascending and descending ladders
    • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50lbs.
    • Ability to climb ladders and operate a scissor and/or boom lifts.
    • Must be comfortable working in a wide variety of environments
    • Clean criminal background and motor vehicle report.
