Surveillance Operations Manager manages and directs the surveillance department. Organizes routine random surveillances and audits surveillance as required. Being a Surveillance Operations Manager ensures compliance with gaming requirements set by state gaming authority and local law enforcement. Works with security team to resolve problems and disturbances. Additionally, Surveillance Operations Manager may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Surveillance Operations Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Surveillance Operations Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     Job Description:


    Advantage Investigations is seeking a Full Time Surveillance Investigator in Washington, DC Area. The qualified candidate will be responsible for conducting basic surveillance and investigative activities for our operations team. As a new investigator, we will provide you with a comprehensive training program, door to door travel pay, a vehicle allowance, fuel card, a top-of-the-line camera kit, as well as our other generous benefit offerings listed below.


    Responsibilities:

    • Locating Subjects of assigned investigations throughout DC and surrounding states.
    • Conducting covert observations of the Subject (Both Stationary and Mobile Surveillance).
    • Recording Subject activity on a video recording device.
    • Preparing a written descriptive log of observations (Surveillance Report).
    • Uploading Video Evidence and a Surveillance Report


    Qualifications:

    • Private Investigator license in DC – We assist with this
    • Creative Thinking, Self-Motivated
    • Reliable Vehicle
    • Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
    • Must meet state mandated requirements to obtain or maintain a Private Detective / Private Investigator license / registration in multiple states
    • Ability to Pass a 10 Panel Drug Screening.
    • Good Driving Record
    • Weekend and Holiday Availability
    • Prior related surveillance & workers’ compensation experience is helpful but not required
    • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time

    Salary: $20-22/hour
