Low Voltage Project Manager

  • POSITION OVERVIEW:

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Low Voltage Project Manager. Based out of Redding, CA, - the successful candidate will provide overall administrative and technical direction for Voice, Data, Video and Security systems. Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of multiple projects including, budget, oversight of field employees, etc. Project Manager will carry responsibility for all matters, even if performed by a support function. Project Manager is expected to be able to travel. In addition, this role provides account management support, customer service and new business development. A successful candidate for this position must be able to demonstrate the abilities to be reliable, accurately complete paperwork, and possesses a working knowledge of the products actively installed in the Low Voltage Industry (Telecommunications, CCTV, Access Control, Fiber Optics, etc.).

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Assist in the total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, Federal, State or Local Code, budget, and schedule.
    • Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project including, but not limited to: General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, General Foremen, etc.
    • Provide direction to planning, scheduling and engineering functions.
    • Participate in estimating projects and writing proposals for change orders.
    • Review and approve purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests.
    • Assists in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensures that all OSHA requirements are met.

    OTHER FUNCTIONS

    • Ensure that all company client policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpret the policies.
    • Ensure the maintenance of all official project documentation and logs.
    • Responsible for customer maintenance and other sales and marketing.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of labor agreements and standards specific to projects.
    • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 5 years managing low voltage; Telecommunications, CCTV, Access Control, Fiber Optics, etc.
    • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
    • Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
    • RCDD certification a plus.

    · Valid California Driver's license – Clean Driving Record verification - required

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
