Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients that have abnormal structures of the body caused by congenital defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumors, or disease. Performs surgery to improve functions and to approximate a normal appearance. Being a Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for our oculofacial surgery practice (Oculofacial Plastic Surgery of Hawaii). We treat patients with cosmetic and functional concerns of the eyelids, face, tear ducts, and orbit. We perform a broad range of facial surgeries and non-surgical procedures (i.e. botulinum toxin injections, fillers, chemical peels, PRP, RF microneedling, and a broad array of laser skin rejuvenation procedures).

Dr. Bradford Lee was formerly a professor at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute / University of Miami School of Medicine (rated the #1 eye hospital in the USA) and is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. You will work closely with him and the entire team, and he will teach you to assist in surgery, perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures, and develop into a confident and competent oculoplastics PA by working with a world class team.
