JOB SUMMARY FOR REGISTERED NURSE
Work for an established and still growing premier cosmetic surgery practice. You will perform the most current aesthetic procedures to date (within the scope of services allowed by the State of California and under the direct supervision of Board Certified Plastic Surgeon). To include non-surgical aesthetic lasers, injectables and skincare treatments, pre-operative patient care, post-operative recovery and wound care, and assist in the operating room. The ideal candidate will share our values of excellent results and amazing customer service. The registered nurse has the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. The registered nurse may work in pre-operative, surgical, and post-operative areas. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, and all Federal and State standards of care.
Salary will be determined based upon experience. Salary listed is base salary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTERED NURSE
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
At least 1 year experience as a registered nurse in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred
At least 1 year experience in med spa preferred but not required
Registered Nurse License Current in the State of California
Current BLS/ACLS required
Current PALS preferred
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and the practice.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office are crucial.
Previous cosmetic surgery experience a plus.
Must be a team player and be able to work well with others.
