Surgeon - Orthopedic jobs in Westbrook, ME

• Mid Coast Medical Group is seeking a full time BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join a growing Orthopedic and Sports Medicine practice. The 1:5 orthopedic call is supported by an efficient Emergency Department and a strong team of Hospitalists. Our integrated practice provides on-site radiology, musculoskeletal PT and OT.

• Position Summary
  • The Attending Physician will provide high quality medical care by examining patients and determining the appropriate treatment plans for illness or injuries.  Conducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or services.  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:  Medical Degree (MD,DO)
  • License/Certifications: Current License in the State of Maine
  • Experience:  Medical residency training
  • Fellowship training to specialty (if applicable)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
