Surgeon - Orthopedic jobs in Sunland Park, NM
Surgeon - Orthopedic examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. Performs surgical procedures to immobilize fractures by using corrective devices such as braces, pins, casts, and splints. Being a Surgeon - Orthopedic reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Orthopedic may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to a medical director. Requires a license to practice. Del Sol Medical Center is seeking for an orthopaedic trauma surgeon for development and implementation of a new service line in El Paso, TX.
Qualified Candidates:- Board certified or board eligible in an ACGME orthopaedic surgery residency
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Ortho Trauma experience or Fellowship trained
- Full-time, Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
