Additionally, Surgeon - Orthopedic may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Departments include: 24/7 Emergency, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Urgent Care, Exotics, and Radiology. We have a 16-slice CT machine, MRI, and 7 days/week access to ultrasound and endoscopy.
We’re located in the beautiful and iconic Marin county, which offers a wide range of outdoor recreation, arts and culture, and fantastic proximity to San Francisco, Napa Valley, Point Reyes National Seashore, and the East Bay. We are currently building a new facility from our current location, which will be 3x the size of our current building, and feature 6 ORs, 10 exam rooms, dedicated induction, recovery and surgery treatment areas, and a thoughtfully-designed wellness/resilience room.
The Role: We are seeking a full-time or part-time surgeon to join our growing Surgery Service. You would join our team of one full-time surgeon, a surgery client service coordinator, 2 experienced RVTs with 4 dedicated veterinary assistants.
We have a network of board-certified and internship-trained surgeons who provide after-hours, holiday, and weekend support for emergency surgeries. In addition, you would enjoy the benefit of formal and informal collaboration with the in-house specialists, including an in-house radiologist.
