Surgeon - Orthopedic examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. Performs surgical procedures to immobilize fractures by using corrective devices such as braces, pins, casts, and splints. Being a Surgeon - Orthopedic reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Orthopedic may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to a medical director. Requires a license to practice. We are seeking a Radiology Technologist who is looking for work life balance and a dynamic working environment. If you're looking to work side by side in a clinic setting with the Physicians and Physician Assistants, then this is the position for you. Our practices are busy, yet more relaxed. A team environment. We have multiple locations and radiology supports each one. Some of our staff float and travel between locations. No weekends, no holidays, and no mandatory on call. Practice schedules are generally Monday-Friday; 7:00am-4:30pm. This position could be potentially float between other locations on slower office days.
Job Function:
The Radiology Technologist is a trained medical professional performing radiological duties in compliance with regulatory and departmental requirements. The duties of the Radiology Technologist vary from setting to setting, depending on the size, location, and type. The Radiology Technologist performs radiographic exams, ordered by the physician, which are technically satisfactory, properly positioned and processed adequately. All exams must be performed using the ALARA principle to minimize radiation dose to the patient.
