Surgeon - Orthopedic jobs in Indiana
Surgeon - Orthopedic examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. Performs surgical procedures to immobilize fractures by using corrective devices such as braces, pins, casts, and splints. Being a Surgeon - Orthopedic reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Orthopedic may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to a medical director. Requires a license to practice. Surgeon - Orthopedic's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

- Hospital employed position
- $70,000 Sign-on $2,500 monthly residency/fellowship stipend

Clinic
- BRAND NEW CLINIC WILL OPEN 2024
- Walk in Clinic Option: Monday- Friday 8:30 to 11:30 am
- Office hours: Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Four orthopedics surgeons
- Three podiatrists
- One physician assistant
Operating Room:
- Each physician has a surgery day in Schneck's OR with ability to take ad-ons on additional days
- Mako SmartRobotics technology
- Collegial medical staff
- Accessible and flexible administration
- Block time in OR 1 full day each week with ability to add cases to other days
