Both neurology and acupuncture are practiced at our medical office. By integrating the two substantially different approaches, one science-based while the other time-tested, we strive to provide quality and distinctive healthcare services to patients in the Puget Sound area and beyond.

We would like to welcome a passionate professional to join our team as a full-time (40 hours/week) employee. The individual is largely based in Burien but may need to spend some time weekly at our satellite office in a different location. We provide a collegial work environment and offer a number of employment benefits, some of which are listed above.

Typical Responsibilities of the New Hire Include:

• Help prepare for medical procedures, monitor patient conditions, and complete post-procedure clean-up.
• Schedule appointments and answer patient calls. Contact payers as needed to get preauthorization.
• Register, check in, and check out patients. Collect payments from patients.
• Maintain and help complete EHR/EMR records. Process requests for medical record release.
• Assist in prescription refills and treatment authorization.
• Maintain and track medical and office supplies. Keep the office organized and clean.
• Work on other management assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Completion of high school education or its equivalent
• Proven ability to read, write, and converse in the English language
• Proficient in computer usage and applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly valued characteristics include ability to multitask, attention to details, working independently and proactively, and being responsible and dependable.
• Experience in a medical office
• Experience with electronic health record system Epic preferred
