- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems (Epic)
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Assist with medical billing and coding processes as needed
- Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and contact lens usage
- Collaborate with the sales team to recommend appropriate eyewear products based on patients' needs
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or ophthalmology setting is preferred
- Familiarity with ophthalmic equipment and procedures is highly desirable
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems, such as Epic, is a plus
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding processes is beneficial
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to the eye is required
