Being a Surgeon determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. May provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. Additionally, Surgeon may provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to a medical director. Requires a license to practice. Surgeon's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Your Surgery service would be supported by two board-certified radiologists, two additional boarded surgeons, a boarded anesthesiologist, a boarded dermatologist, a strong 24/7 Emergency team led by a residency-trained Criticalist, and a new on-site Urgent Care. With four spacious ORs, well-trained technicians, and up-to-date equipment and implants, you would be set up for a successful service launch from day one.
