Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health – an academic medical institution in Saginaw, MI – is looking for full-time BC/BE seeking an experienced Colorectal Surgeon to join our faculty team.  This role includes resident and medical student education, as well as faculty clinic.

Responsibilities

Central Michigan University College of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Colorectal Surgeon to join our existing Faculty team.  Selected candidate will be responsible for the growth of a clinically oriented academic practice with an emphasis on teaching residents and medical students, providing state of the art care and clinical trials.  Along with administrative roles, the selected candidate will provide both academic work rounds and attending rounds and will be engaged in providing quality education in a clinical environment, serve diverse patients, including the medically underserved and low-income population. This position is full time, employed position that offers, competitive salary, vacation, benefits, malpractice, etc.  Candidate must be able to obtain a Michigan license and interested in scholarly activities.  

Qualifications

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Fellowship Trained
• State of Michigan licensed or eligible
• Board-eligible or certified
• Controlled Substance license
• Must meet credentialing criteria
• Leadership or educational experience preferred
