Job Summary: We are looking for a Board Certified and/or Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team in Charleston, SC. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to provide exceptional care in a busy and growing practice. The successful candidate will have experience in routine heart surgery procedures, thoracic procedures, valve operations (including TAVR and mitral), and a current volume of over 200 hearts per year. The practice is expecting growth in 2022, outpacing population growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Carry out clinical surgical procedures, including both routine and complex cases
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Provide consultation and monitoring of patients
• Participate in teaching/training of staff
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care
Qualifications:
• Board Certified and/or Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• Experience in routine heart surgery procedures, thoracic procedures, and valve operations (including TAVR and mitral)
• Current volume of over 200 hearts per year
• Eligible candidates must submit current case mix, volume, and STS data with application
