Surgeon - Burn examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients with burns from heat, cold, chemical, or electrical incidents. Performs escharectomy, skin grafting, and secondary burn surgery. Being a Surgeon - Burn reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Burn may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Job Title: Burn Ambassador
The Burn Ambassador is a fun and exciting opportunity to join one of the nation’s fastest growing fitness franchises. You will have the opportunity to influence others’ lives with your knowledge and passion for fitness and healthy lifestyles and play a very integral and critical role at Burn Boot Camp. The Burn Ambassador is the first person our members see when they walk in the door and provide our clients first impression. They are responsible for working with the team to maximize the client Blue Carpet Experience and facilitating day-to-day activities. They also work with the team to maximize sales and the growth of our member base. There is a strong focus on running the “front of house” operations and fostering the growth of community in the gym.
BURN AMBASSADOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide the full welcome experience with each client, including a greeting, tour of the facility, introduction to the trainer, paired with a member, tell them about the Burn ap and how to sign up for camp, waivers signed, and proper supporting documents given to the client.
- Greet every client by name and high 5 when they arrive and tell them good job when they leave. Treat every client with the same level of enthusiasm.
- Price present after the 1st camp for each trial member and ask them to join. They can complete their trial before their membership begins.
- Facilitate day-to-day process related to member check in, trial clients, focus meetings, contract sales, retail transactions.
- Wear BURN gear while on the job – 30% off all retail. Write purchases on retail sheet.
- Promote retail and as you see clients looking at retail, engage and discuss how they would benefit from Nutrition (AfterBurn/Ignite/Replenish/Collagen/Creatine)
- Learn everyone’s name during the camp you attend
- If you are in camp and someone walks in, excuse yourself and meet/greet them, have them sign liability waiver and join you for the remainder of workout, then follow-up with “TOUR”
- Attend regular team meetings to align on current focuses, provide any feedback from clients while assisting them in the moment.
- Promote Burn on social media through FB posts, instragram posts, live videos, etc
- Responsible for working as a team to close minimum of 50% of all trials and working with training staff to maximize the client experience
- Assist in promoting gym initiatives and trials with sales, challenges, and community events.
- Ensure bathrooms are clean and stocked, take trashes as needed, spot vacuum floor as needed
- Setup trial clients and include how they heard about us in referral section
- Ensure contracts are filled out properly and provide an explanation of our cancelation and suspension policies
- Promptly report facility needs to i.e. office supplies, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Work with BA team to find coverage if you will miss your scheduled timeslot and provide coverage for other BAs. Let franchise partner(s) know if you cannot find coverage for a camp a minimum of 1 day in advance.
- Complete BA assigned training on Burn Learning Portal
Required Qualifications
- Must be a high producer in autonomous working situations and a self-motivator
- Have prior experience in a customer facing role
- Able to easily learn and navigate software systems and maintain records
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable in a sales role
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized, while having high attention to detail and follow through
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Can easily identify opportunities for growth and strategies for execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Have had previous experience working at a fitness facility
- Have had prior experience in client sales
- Have prior Burn Boot Camp Experience as a member or staff member
- Have connections to businesses and organizations in the Hendersonville area
- Be local to the East Nashville
