Surgeon - Burn examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients with burns from heat, cold, chemical, or electrical incidents. Performs escharectomy, skin grafting, and secondary burn surgery. Being a Surgeon - Burn reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Burn may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Burn Boot Camp’s Childwatch program is an essential part of our client’s membership benefits and experience. We strive to provide the utmost care and respect for our Burn Boot Camp kids and families, as well as a top-notch experience so parents can have 45 minutes to workout.
Our Childwatch teammates are key to our gym! We are looking for someone who has a passion for children and who can be responsible for welcoming our parents and taking our new parents through our check-in process to put them at ease. During camp, the Childwatch team will organize and participate in recreational activities such as games, arts, and crafts. Our childwatch team is also responsible for facility cleanliness and will ensure all cleaning and sanitizing tasks are being completed on proper cadence.
