Job Summary: We are recruiting for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established Orthopedic Surgery team in Knoxville, Tennessee. The successful candidate will have a Specialty in Sports Medicine and Robotics, Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction, and extensive training in Hip Arthroscopy as well as Hip Replacement. This position will involve a mix of Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities, and will include the support of experienced Advanced Practitioners, as well as a strong Physical Therapist Department within the Clinic.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat orthopedic conditions, both surgical and non-surgical.
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Identify and appropriately refer patients to other medical specialists and services.
- Remain up-to-date with latest developments and technology in the field of orthopedics.
- Follow best practices and safety protocols.
- Participate in research and other academic activities.
- Ensure positive patient outcomes through effective communication and collaboration with other medical staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Must have a valid medical license in the state of Tennessee.
- Experience in Sports Medicine and Robotics, Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction, and extensive training in Hip Arthroscopy as well as Hip Replacement is preferred.
- Must have excellent surgical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
Experience and Skills:
