Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator jobs in the United States
Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator is responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing. Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT equipment. Being a Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator monitors and maintains equipment to meet company standards. May be responsible for quality assurance and documentation. Additionally, Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. As an SMT Operator you will set up and run a Surface Mount line operating screen printers, Mydata pick and place equipment, and reflow ovens.
Skill Requirements:
- 2-4 years related SMT or machine operating experience in an evironment where PCB's (Printed Circuit Boards) are manufactured.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering assembly documentation and instructions
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be a team player
