Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator jobs in Rhode Island

Whether you are just starting your career or already an established Machine Operator, we are seeking focused individuals to be part of our team responsible for producing high-quality, tight tolerance machined parts. Minimal experience is necessary as training will be provided.

All shifts available 1st, 2nd & 3rd

Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust machines to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor machines for malfunctions and perform repairs when needed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
• Load and unload materials and finished products from machines.
• Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning.
• Collaborate with team members, including maintenance and production personnel.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a machine operator or in a related field is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to read and interpret machining and fabrication instructions.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
