Machine Operator Summary: 

The Machine Operator will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the extrusion blow molding machines and related auxiliary equipment.

Machine Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating extrusion blow molding equipment as assigned and as necessary to produce quality products efficiently
• Responsible for performing autonomous maintenance activities on extrusion blow molding equipment daily ensuring the equipment is adequately maintained
• Help establish and maintain area and extrusion blow molding equipment 5s activities
• Will adhere to all safety requirements for extrusion machine operations and related OSHA standards
• Interface with extrusion blow molding manager and associated support employees
• Responsible for maintaining established production and quality standards
• Participate in daily planning activities as requested
• Responsible for reporting all performance and quality issues related to the extrusion machine and its products
• Will adhere to all company policies related to employee requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Machine Operator Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• 3 years machine operating experience preferred
• 3 years related extrusion blow molding experience preferred
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general machine operations

Machine Operator Other Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of operational variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
