Additionally, Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our team. The SMT Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
```Duties:```
Set up and operate SMT equipment, including solder paste printer, pick-and-place machines (Mycronic/MyData), and reflow oven (Vitronics).
```Experience:```
- Previous experience as an SMT Operator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of surface mount technology processes and equipment
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to read and interpret prints, specifications, work instructions and bills of material
- Mycronic training would be a plus
