Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator jobs in Massachusetts
Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator is responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing. Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT equipment. Being a Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator monitors and maintains equipment to meet company standards. May be responsible for quality assurance and documentation. Additionally, Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Surface Mount Tech Machine Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Contract Manufacturer is looking to hire an entry level Machine Operators for multiple full-time opportunities working on first shift, Monday through Friday; 6:00AM-2:30PM. This position is paying $19/HR. depending on experience.
This candidate will be willing to learn how to set up and operate production machinery according to customer specifications.
Training provided for machine operating and soldering, wiring, PC boards, and assembly of PC boards knowledge and experience is preferred.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of USA (ITAR Facility)
- Someone who is a team player
- Responsible for cleaning and labeling PC Boards
- Keep work area clean and up to company safety standards
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Good communication and work ethic
- Knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
- Manufacturing environment knowledge and experience preferred
