LifeShare is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to plan, organize and manage our centralized purchasing, warehousing and distribution of supply inventory. The Manager will source quality products to meet the Company’s operational needs; select vendors, negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective supplier management; ensure adequate inventory is maintained on all standard usage supplies and equipment; and coordinate the team of service drivers or couriers to ensure inter-office mail, supplies and products are distributed or transported among 9 primary work locations in our LA/TX/AR service area.
Reporting to the Executive Director - Procurement, Properties & Fleet, the Manager will apply effective procurement, inventory management and supplier relationship strategies to manage supply chain operations and maximize process efficiencies; ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling to meet operational goals; provide training and oversight for the central warehouse team; monitor and assess performance related to established key performance indicators; participate in quality control/assurance activities; and promote a “safety first” approach to work. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, experienced in procurement and inventory management (preferably in a healthcare setting) and has prior supervisory experience.
