Position Summary
Develop short and long term strategies direction for all spend categories within portfolio and all Supply Chain activities for both operational and decommissioning efforts at Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Diablo Canyon Independent Spent Fuel Installation and Humboldt Bay Independent Spent Fuel Installation. Assure all planned and emergent activities requiring parts and/or services are managed through the Supply Chain determining timeliness, value, cost and quality, as appropriate. Develop strategies and plans to drive greatest total cost of ownership while ensuring excellent service. Achieves savings, safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction targets.
Directly manages Nuclear Service Contract Procurement Supervisor and Category Leaders (direct and contract).
You will be required to obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, requiring you to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening; necessitating you live within a 90 minute response perimeter to DCPP.
The position is primarily located at the offsite leased Supply Chain facility located at 4e340 Old Santa Fe Rd; however, also may be located at the Nuclear Power Plant. Highly secure work location subject to personal search daily. Much of the time located in an office environment. Work may require access to the Outage Control Center and Operations Control room and various other security protected locations. Warehouse location requires personal protected equipment at all times as do many of the protected area access locations.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable salary range is:
