The Supply Chain Planning Manager is a newly created role that is a critical component in supporting the development of our Global Genomics Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning initiative (SIOP)
About the Role: The successful candidate will coordinate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop Forecasting and Demand planning processes. Developed from historical data and optimized using commercial intelligence, consensus forecasts will provide the foundation to our Inventory and Operations Planning processes.
The role will also work closely with Production, Scheduling and Customer service teams to ensure Supply planning activities are appropriate to deliver strong product availability performance and communication.
The role will play a key part in leading the monthly SIOP process, which requires collation and analysis of relevant Demand, Supply and Inventory data which will support recommendations for effective decision making.
The Manager will also ensure optimization of the company’s ERP system, aligned to global standard practices.
