Responsibilities:
Provides guidance to stakeholders daily for allocated projects
Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages complex contract documents for allocated suppliers, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives
Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure allocated contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, in accordance with company policies and guidelines
Negotiates allocated supplier contracts with its stakeholders, to achieve business favorable terms
Reviews allocated contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, as well as assessing the risk and impact
Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms
Briefs management and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation and contingency plans based on developed recommendations, for allocated contracts
Identifies opportunities to streamline workflow and improve quality of work product. Brings forward recommendations to increase efficiencies through use of tool or process enhancements
Track and report key functional metrics
Represents the organization on legal issues for allocated contracts
