Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Supply Chain Manager to join our team at our tech manufacturing facility in Lake Forest. The Supply Chain Manager will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution of materials and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management within the tech manufacturing industry and a proven track record of driving process improvements and cost savings initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain operations and enhance overall efficiency and performance. Collaborate with senior management to align supply chain strategies with business goals and objectives.

• Procurement and Vendor Management: Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.

• Production Planning and Scheduling: Coordinate production planning activities to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory levels and production costs. Develop production schedules and capacity plans to optimize resource utilization and achieve production targets.

• Inventory Management: Implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs. Develop inventory replenishment strategies to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.

• Logistics and Distribution: Manage the transportation and distribution of materials and products to customers and distribution centers. Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and improve delivery times.

• Supply Chain Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of the supply chain operations. Analyze data and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supply shortages, transportation delays, and geopolitical issues. Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruptions to operations.

• Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards governing supply chain operations, including import/export regulations, environmental regulations, and product safety standards.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as production, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with overall business objectives. Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to address customer requirements and resolve issues effectively.
