As a Director, Supply Chain Management on the Reverse Supply Chain team, you’ll be based in Bentonville, AR and will oversee the team responsible for our .com member returns, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations, managing vendor relationships, and implementing strategies to optimize our reverse supply chain.
What you’ll do…
Develop and execute a comprehensive Ship-to-Home (S2H) reverse supply chain strategy, aligning it with the organization's overall business objectives.
Leverage data and key metrics to identify opportunities for returns mitigation and avoidance, and implement strategies to achieve cost reduction, increase liquidation value, and influence inventory optimization goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reverse supply chain operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fulfillment operations, merchandising, product/technology and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the reverse supply chain flow.
Develop and manage the reverse supply chain budget, controlling costs and allocating resources effectively, while driving efficiencies across the organization.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies related to reverse supply chain management and recommend innovative solutions to enhance overall performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to reverse logistics and environmental sustainability.
Provide regular updates to senior management on the performance of the reverse supply chain, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
