Supply Chain Director directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods. Develops and implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Being a Supply Chain Director negotiates with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing. Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements. Additionally, Supply Chain Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Supply Chain Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Supply Chain Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. If you can see yourself as an integral part of the TTM team, then explore our career opportunities and apply today!SCOPE:Accountable and responsible for the establishment & execution of the Supply Chain strategy to support all North American sites, for all commodities utilized in the TTM assembly business outside of those directly related to the PCB commodity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Inventory Management
- Implement Consignment/Vendor Managed/JIT agreements with preferred suppliers
- Collaborate with category team to develop Consignment/VMI agreements where advantageous
- Develop / manage best practices associated with Min/Max
- Develop and implement methodologies for inventory redistribution
Cost Management- Implement GCM strategic cost objectives with Class A or Preferred Suppliers
- Collaborate with Site Procurement Team to lead negotiations with Class B or Regional suppliers, with a focus on cost, quality, service, and ROIC
- Collaborate with GSCM and drive additional cost reduction targets through regular negotiation and alternative material evaluation.
Supplier Management- Implement GCM strategic objectives with Class A or Preferred Suppliers, with focus on service (on time delivery), quality, and technical support
- Collaborate with Site Procurement Leads to focus on service, quality, and technical support with Class B and/or Regional suppliers
- Work closely with corresponding internal stakeholders in development of, and understanding of, sales forecast; sourcing requirements and production demand to ensure minimum production disruption
- Drive consolidation of supply chain with focus on economies of scale as TTM grows and expands, and improves leverage with supply base
Contract Management- Collaborate with GCM team to negotiate and close key supplier contracts inclusive of Supplier Assurance, partnership, joint development and regulatory
Operation Management- Provide supervisory oversight to ensure ethics and TTM Code of Conduct are adhered.
- Develop strong & professional working relationship with plant General Managers to ensure seamless collaboration between SCM, Operations and Engineering.
- Support enforcement of TTM environmental policy with suppliers
- Support development of a strong supply chain management team by mentoring and developing key personnel, inclusive of succession planning

- Proficient in supplier relationship management, supplier development, and supplier risk management
- Adept in total cost management, cost modeling and should-cost analysis
- Commodity expertise in Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical commodities, including but not limited to passives, IC’s Interconnect, distribution
- Collaborative mindset with effective people management and organization skills
- Effective communication skills, team facilitation and influencing skills in a matrix environment
- Demonstrate strong leadership principles and competencies
- Proficient business and data analysis skills and familiarity with MRP and ERP tools (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management & Logistics preferred
- Supply Chain Certification preferred
MISC:- Position Location: Position ideally located in Santa Clara CA, Denver CO, Stafford Springs CT, Syracuse, NY or Salem NH.
- Relocation: Position is eligible for relocation assistance.
- Travel: 20-30% between TTM NA sites and Suppliers.
- Reporting: Reports to Sr. Director of Supply Chain Management-NA.
