We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Director to join our team. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Create and diagram supply chain models that increase efficiency and speed.
Oversee Supply Chain Managers to:
Ensure Parts Business system information is accurate and concise, both Vendor data and product-specific data.
Oversight of product flow in the CDK Global system from quotation through shipment
Manages stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs
Coordinates and controls the order cycle
Oversees cycle counting processes
Provides operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity
Train and mentor parts employees on inventory forecast models, perpetual inventory and in various business systems
Negotiates with customers and suppliers and manages contracts
Develops business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems, and producing new solutions
Develop and manage private-label brand of parts to distribute worldwide
Manages and oversees staff, which includes recruiting/hiring, evaluating, scheduling, terminating, etc.
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
Conducts research and analyzes results as needed
Provides timely and accurate reports as required
Other duties as requested by management.
