Supply Chain Analyst jobs in South Dakota
Supply Chain Analyst monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Being a Supply Chain Analyst identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst may assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supply Chain Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Summary
Provide supply chain management with business decision support and analytics. Develop (Key Performance Indicator) KPIs and dashboards to support operations, and provide reports and analytics to support supply chain management operations.
Perform in-depth analysis to support contracting and utilization activities, and detailed analysis on business functions as needed.
Communicate in an effective and concise manner to superiors and assist with process improvement, while exhibiting the ability and initiative to learn and understand business processes.
Must be self-motivated and flexible, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment that supports other team members.
This is NOT a remote position.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field required, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
Technical skills, including a familiarity with database systems, report writing and analytics required.
