Supply Chain Analyst monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Being a Supply Chain Analyst identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. Additionally, Supply Chain Analyst may assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supply Chain Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Description:

    The System Junior Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

    Inventory & Logistics Applications User Support

    • Support users who encounter errors while using Client’s Inventory systems.

    • Manage day to day operational tasks generated by cross functional teams and help resolve the same within agreed timeframes. Perform root cause analysis, write SQL, read backend code as necessary to troubleshoot system issues.

    • Provide on-call resources to triage and resolve Tier 1 systems issues and requests.

    • Identify and report bugs related to data discrepancy and tooling, support testing on spare planning tooling space.

    • Support Client’s team in resolving inventory discrepancy issue(s).

    • Report on users’ issues within the supported scope.

    • Help automate tactical activities through Macros, VBs etc., to help improve efficiency and increase productivity.

    Inventory & Logistics Transactions

    • Movements: Move parts logically in the system per Client’s request(s).

    • Corrections: Delete erroneous information as determined by Client and replace with correct data as validated by Client in the Inventory management system based on investigation and Client’s request(s).

    User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

    • Data setup: set up inventory test data in the system(s) to support UAT.

    • Test new functionalities when they are rolled out as requested by Client.

    Metrics

    • Generate weekly/monthly operations focused metrics and reporting based on detailed data analysis and root cause analysis for Task and Inventory data by writing SQL queries, and build visualization dashboard using Tableau, Unidash or equivalent.

    • Support ad-hoc requests for reports, on-call support, UAT and other operational tasks as staffing capacity allows.

    Communication and Service Governance

    • Utilize Client’s “Task” platform to intake, triage, address and close all requested action items within agreed upon timeframes.

    • Schedule and lead cross functional (XFN) meetings, as appropriate, to address issues within the scope of Service Provider’s responsibility as set forth in this SOW.

    • Summarize and communicate complicated issues to Client, including system outages (UBN) or similar issues.

    • Generate weekly on-call summary report.

    Documentation

    • Document work instructions, process flows, guild both for internal team and external users’ usage.

    • Make training documents, videos, to support existing and new features of the systems and tooling.

    • ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) documentation for both Inventory modules, as well as boundary systems. Mapping data source for derived data sources.


    Qualifications:

    • 1 year of experience with SQL

    • 1 year of experience in system analysis and support

    • 1 year of experience working on Supply Chain ERP systems

    • 1 year of experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, VBA, etc)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Degree in Info Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Supply Chain

    Professional Skills Requirements:

    • Must be detail-oriented and ability to scrutinize for quality of response from the stakeholders

    • Enjoys operating in a fast-paced, team environment under time constraints

    • Proven interpersonal skills, comfortable with maneuvering different modes of communication to extract information

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
