Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) jobs in Florida
Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of substance abuse programs. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and quality of drug/alcohol rehabilitation treatment procedures to achieve standards and objectives. Being a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) partners with community agencies and programs to ensure continuity in the type and level of patient care. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and requirements. Additionally, Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Overview:
Assesses plans, develops, coordinates and provides treatment, rehabilitation and support services to persons with severe and persistent mental illness. Provides crisis intervention. Serves as client advocate and liaison by providing outreach and supportive services to clients. Makes appropriate referrals and consultations both within and outside the agency. Prepares and maintains client records.
