    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    As a Program Support Assistant (OA), you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:

    • Receives reviews and assesses all incoming and outgoing program-related materials.
    • Coordinates administrative tasks associated with maintaining and supporting the work performed within the organization.
    • Performs office automation duties, which include the preparation of ad hoc and reoccurring reports, forms, correspondence, and presentation materials, which may include complex graphs, charts, and tabular material.
    • Schedules appointments, coordinates meetings, and/or schedules conferences to include the managing of logistics.

    Basic Qualifications: This position requires a Typing Proficiency of 40 words per minute (WPM).

    Minimum Qualifications:

    To qualify for the GS-07:
    You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing all of the following:
    • Assisting in the identification of logistical requirements and arrangements for meetings to include hotel, travel, catering, and vendor contracts;
    • Providing assistance to staff in designing, developing, and administering the office's automation and data processing systems; AND
    • Creating and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other computer files.

    To qualify for the GS-08:
    You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing all of the following:
    • Reviewing correspondence and other written documents for accuracy and completeness.
    • Managing the appointments and meetings schedule for leadership and other senior staff members as directed.
    • Replying to inquiries to ensure appropriate information in conveyed where incoming questions were vague, incorrect or incomplete.
