A substance abuse treatment center in the East Valley, is seeking overnight Registered Nurses (RN). As a Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of the clients at all times. We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse (RN) as soon as possible. A successful candidate must possess integrity, positive energy, flexibility, and a willingness to grow.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1 year experience with a valid license as a RN
- Current CPR/First Aid (BCLS) certification, preferably Health Care Provider certification
- Knowledge of substance abuse treatment.
- Must know medications and side effects.
- Knowledge with doctor transcribing, telephone orders, nurse charting, medical assessments, admissions and discharges.
- Strong communication skills with clients and professionals.
- Able to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Basic knowledge of 12 step programs, 2 years sobriety if recovering.
