Subrogation Specialist, Sr. is responsible for subrogation activities including the identification and research of subrogation claims. Assists in the recovery of overpayments. Processes subrogation, workers' compensation, and other claims where third-party liability exists. Additionally, Subrogation Specialist, Sr. develops cases resulting from beneficiary or provider-initiated inquiries, internal referrals, personal research, or computer-generated reports. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Subrogation Specialist, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Job Title: Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist
Job Location: St. Paul, MN, U.S.A. 55117
Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)
Pay: Starts at $47.00 an hour
Shift Structure: ONSITE, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
The role of the Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist:
- Develop a risk-based cybersecurity program that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry-leading information security practices.
- Conduct threat identification and mitigation activities using industry-leading security controls and toolsets.
- Advance company's cyber threat and vulnerability management program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of cybersecurity threats, events, and vulnerabilities.
- Assess threats to the business and deploy appropriate countermeasures.
- Collaborate with business units, application development teams, and third-party vendors to achieve program requirements while enabling business operations.
- Apply technical knowledge to protect the company against cyber threats, including the implementation and operational use of GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance) toolsets.
- Facilitate cross-team coordination to achieve defined security goals and meet technical requirements for security projects.
- Manage security projects to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and effective implementation of cybersecurity improvements, with validation methods in place to measure effectiveness.
- Perform assessment of cybersecurity incidents to identify root causes, respond, and recover the environment.
- Develop strategies, policies, and standards to protect company information and technology assets.
- Manage capital and operational expense budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and administration.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in vendor risk management is required
- Expertise in implementing industry standards such as ISO 27001/2, SOC 2, HITRUST, FedRAMP Information Security standard, and ISO 22301 Business Continuity Standard.
- Experience with implementation and operational use of Archer GRC tool sets (Governance Risk and Compliance).
- CISSP certification (or similar) is required.
- Knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as ISO, SOX, BASEL II, EU DPD, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
