Conforti Auto & Marine Detailing – Ceramic Coating Specialist is seeking to add qualified dedicated / energetic PPF Installers to join our team. As a PPF Installer you would be responsible for the continued growth, quality, customer service and installation of our Automotive Film Line STEK. You should possess a good work ethic and be able to function effectively in a team environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for the reconditioning process on various vehicles & boats etc. in our AC shop, marinas and or customers homes. We offer our associates a team environment and ongoing training and support. You must be a team player with a positive attitude and work ethic and MUST show up for work!

Job Description/Duties

This job description provided below shows major tasks, duties, and responsibilities (we work on all vehicles, boats, RVs, Harley Davidsons, jet skis & more):

• Responsible for complete detailing & preparation for interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, pre-wash, buffing, and final quality control etc.
• Team players You have a desire to be a part of a team-based environment where each member relies on the other to keep a steady flow in the detail lanes and maintain strong communication between your teammates and management
• Knowledgeable You understand how to use industrial cleaning tools such as vacuums, pressure washers, buffers, and cleaning chemicals.
• Monitors and maintains the cleaning equipment and machinery for proper operation and functioning
• Uses cleaning supplies and equipment such as brushes, scrapers, vacuums, and solutions to perform cleaning on vehicles/boats etc.
• As a PPF Installer you would be responsible for the continued growth, quality, customer service & installation of our Automotive Film line STEK.
• Bulk patterns and wrap/tucks edges when needed
• Has excellent trimming and cutting skills
• Understands plotter operation: FC9000-160 Graphtec Plotter
• Install automotive film with a high level of quality Utilize PPF Software to computer-cut patterns and stretch/place patterns accurately on vehicles in a clean fashion
• Maintain and preserve professional relationships with our local STEK customers
• Ensures vehicles leave with "as close to perfect" of an install that can be performed
• Preserves, protects, and restores vehicle’s interiors and exteriors through the application of polishes, conditioners, waxes and/or masking materials
• Undertakes inspection on parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness and damage
• Undertakes inspection on personal work performed for maximum quality assurance
• Utilizes buffing machines and cloths to wax and buff vehicles, boats & RVs etc.
• Performs various tasks, including vacuum to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces to protect them against spots and stains
• Protects the leather or fabric of vehicles through the application of dyes, paints, and waxes
• Cleans and dresses engine compartment, wheels, and tires to remove grease and dirt. Provides customer support by responding to clients inquiries and fulfilling their request in a timely manner
• Manages inventory and reorders supplies
• Moves and parks vehicles; delivers vehicles to correct locations or picks up owners or drivers up when needed.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Maintain required criteria to operate company vehicles and equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to Manual dexterity and physical stamina, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work out of doors in all kinds of weather

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous PPF/detailing experience is required 2 year min.
• Keen attention to detail: Attention to Detail is the ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all areas involved, no matter how small. This means monitoring and checking work or information, while organizing time and resources efficiently
• Courteous to work well towards customers and fellow employees
• Ability to comfortably and safely drive high end vehicles
• Excellent eye, hand coordination and dexterity
• Must listen and follow instructions well
• Willing to train the right applicant in all aspects of the position.
• Must have valid Fl drivers license and be able to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift (8am-5pm)
• No Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday availability as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• PPF Installer: 2 years (Preferred)
• Detailing: 1 year

*Not required but nice to have experience with Ceramic Coating is a PLUS!

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
