Subrogation Specialist is responsible for subrogation activities including the identification and research of subrogation claims. Assists in the recovery of overpayments for duplicate coverage, workers' compensation, and no-fault claims. Being a Subrogation Specialist identifies legal liability and pursues, negotiates, and settles subrogation collection. Researches paid claims, answers inquiries, and coordinates with other departments, insurance adjustors, attorneys, and members. Additionally, Subrogation Specialist interacts with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and underwriters to recommend and document the necessary information to close a file. Collects information needed to determine when an on-site investigation is necessary. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Subrogation Specialist works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Echo/Vascular Technician
Position: Requires considerable technical ability, experience and judgement to perform cardiovascular ultrasound and evaluate the quality of data for Cardiologist interpretation. Must have substantial knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular disease, dynamics of blood flow, doppler and color flow imaging techniques. Expected to have a detailed understanding of ultrasound instrumentation, cardiovascular physiology and pathology, hemodynamics and the ability to relate these findings into clinically meaningful data.
Requirements: Education: Proof of Registry in echocardiography with appropriate credentials: RDCS, RCS, RVS, RVT, RDMS, through ARDMS or CCI.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of full time experience in cardiac ultrasound. Must have considerable experience performing routine echoes including colorflow, pulsewave and continuous wave doppler, stress, echo, pharmacologic stress. Vascular experience a must. Also experience using contrast echo agents. Able to perform vascular studies, carotid, arterial, venous, aorta/iliac, renal ultrasound.
License: Registrations or Certifications current American Heart Association CPR certification.
Work Type: Full Time Monday Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm.
